Ripper tour

Dad's last radiotherapy session today. He was in and out in 20 minutes, the team at the Royal Free have been brilliant. They told dad they hoped they would never meet again, in the nicest sense.

We would have normally gone for a meal to celebrate afterwards but with lockdown we settled for a cup of tea and a chocolate eclair. I bought dad a new pair of gardening gloves and a Sinatra cd he had bought on vinyl when he was a teenager.

For dinner we ordered a celebration pizza delivery and instead of another night in front of the tv we logged on to an online Jack the Ripper tour. This turned out to be much better than originally imagined. Proper gruesome but entertaining and informative.
