Backlit Tulip

The flowers in my garden are few and far between at the moment. Tulips seem to be coming up singly rather than in groups. Guess I had better order some new bulbs in the autumn. I love the way this one was backlit by the afternoon sun.

I heard today that a friend who is older than me is pretty sure she has had Covid19 (she has a medical background and is not prone to exaggeration). Thankfully she has recovered and is now just lacking in energy.
