A wonderful balancing act

I refuse to fill up the peanut again .... Sammy here has had more than enough so when they're gone they're gone and he will just have to find a meal elsewhere. (Not the best pic but it was taken through the kitchen window)

A bit dull first thing but steadily things improved and we enjoyed a beautiful, sunny afternoon. I sat outside for a while with my book and a cuppa but I did more people watching than reading. I'm not used to seeing so many people .... singles, couples and families walking past my gate. It's usually cars that go whizzing along at great speed as they try to dodge the traffic lights.
