When she’s older,
maybe even wiser,
she will look back on the Easter of 2020.

What will she think,
remember,
of the spring when our world slowed down?

She talks of planets,
of infinite possibilities;
and in this she sees our future.

I see in her our future;
of that I’m sure.
It helps enormously.
