Mothers Day

Mothers day, without my mum.

I would have booked her favourite restaurant, I would have given her flowers, I would have got her dinner at the carvery with extra pork crackling, I would have picked a special card and written a thank you in it with a million extra hugs, had she been here.

I have no regrets, mum knew how.special she was whilst she was here. Dad and I made no secret of it. She was loved, and still is.
