Saturday: The Deck

I had a very odd day today.  I was asked a few days ago whether I would assist with some work going on in the UK related to Covid19.  I said yes, not realizing that it meant working UK hours.  All I’ll say is that I was up and working at 0330 in the morning.

It was fairly full on and intense until I finished at 2pm.  It reminded me of the times I used to work night shifts.  I tried to have a nap this afternoon, after I’d finished, but couldn’t get off to sleep.

So, early night tonight.  On another note, I do appreciate that we have a lovely deck on which to hang out.  We’ve made it summer ready so it’s all good to use.
