Van Gogh Exhibition

Today was a great day.

Dad and I drove into town, through Camden, Kings Cross, Holborn, Waterloo, with dad picking out places he had worked in as an electrical engineer over the years. He was happy to relive the memories.

We parked at Southbank and walked through to Strava where we had booked lunch. A bright sunny day and seats overlooking the river we would have been happy to sit there and chat for hours.

We walked back to the exhibition opposite the National Theatre and they checked us in and gave us our headphones and sent us on through to the start. As we walked through, picking up info about van Gogh's unstable life story, his paintings were brought to life, and it was incredible. The poor fella, he had some issues.

We exited through the gift shop and took the obligatory selfie before we left.

A brilliant day spent with dad.
