Another good day

We joined Ella and Nathaniel via WhatsApp on their egg hunt in the garden. All the children would have been here today. It was lovely and they were happy Easter bunnies.

We had a 5.5 mile walk along the river to Thropton, up Physic Lane and home via the Iron Age fort. Someone put a sign on the stile to say there were eggs hidden around the fort, which make me desperate for chocolate. I was disappointed.

Then we got a WhatsApp call from Katy and Colin who were having fizz in their camper van. It was in their drive, so we had camper van nostalgia with them.

Now we have a drink scheduled with Chloe and Graeme in London so I’ll leave you by saying Happy Easter. Or was the right day Friday? Or is it tomorrow? It’s a long weekend and we find the second homers along the street actually live in Dubai but there’s 2 cars at their house. The police have cruised the street. It wisnae me.
