Exuberant Easter Extravaganza

The Easter Sunday annual Finch Race took place as normal today with the stands only half full with the social distancing for the finch population being a good two inches. They were all of a flutter as tickets had been in high demand with the limited perches as this is THE event of the year.

Gordon Goldfinch got the event of to a flying start positively zooming round the circuit at the rate of knots which left even the greenfinch contingent speechless - which it has to be said for a finch is pretty remarkable!
