I was examining my little bug hotels which I'd had hanging on the garage last year and were duly filled up by the Mason Bees.

They're all exiting now and I was lucky enough to spot one just as this individual was working her way out :)    

I say her as as the males emerge first and the second the females appear they're right onto them!   Poor little thing didn't have chance to draw breath before she was divebombed!
