Overlooking the Band of Hope fountain, Peel Park

When Bradford first achieved status in the 19th Century, there was no public park. The city set out to raise funds to purchase land and thereafter to develop this space. Now we can all share it. It hosts football and bowls and the annual Mela, bringing fun & pleasure to thousands of the people of Bradford every year.
