. . . nice smile!

Went back over to help my friend today.  Brought G to sort out the internet connection and the TV, which he did meaning she can watch a favourite program tonite.   We set up some wire shelves, moved things around, threw out a bunch of boxes (which I scavenged for another friend who's sorting out) and took the first and second loads down to her storage locker.   Moved enuf boxes off to unearth her round dining table and 4 chairs, moving them to a usable spot.
Tomorrow we're going to rest!

Morning newspaper headline : HOSPITAL HOT SPOT
Of the 21 new cases statewide, 10 are linked to Maui Memorial

Projects advance during Waikiki downturn  :  The tourism lockdown, which has emptied Waikiki, has created an opportunity to begin about a half-dozen construction projects, including shoring up Waikiki beaches, proceeding on the Royal Hawaiian groin replacement, Ala Wai Canal dredging and wall repair, and repaving sections of roadway on Kalakaua Avenue.

Helping Hands -  Hundreds of vehicles passed thru the Salvation Army's free food distribution drive-thru Saturday at Ala Moana Center, where donated staples like milk, eggs, bread, and potatoes were handed out to thousands in need.

Also :  University of Hawaii engineers and doctors create a device to treat four patients with one ventilator.

And - the Easter weekend curfew seems to be working.   However, during curfew Saturday nite, thieves took an axe to the door of Hawaiian Rent-All, stealing 4 (portable) generators.  The theft was caught on camera, everyone is hoping they are quickly caught.   Sad.

Instead of having more time, I seem to have less.   Thank you to all who have visited my journal with comments, stars, etal.   I hope to catch up soon.

Stay well, stay inside, and take care, everyone.
