Katy

This is my niece Katy who started working in the Covid-19;wards at the Worcester hospital where she is based . We are very proud of her but also very fearful for her. She was frightened herself today as it was her first day . 
She is careful to take her hospital clothes off on her doorstep and put them in cotton bags which she washes immediately. Her biggest concern is for her own family, that she doesn’t carry the virus home on herself . 
She was extremely upset on Saturday ,as she was a colleague of the nurse from Redditch who died .

We all owe a big thank you to all these NHS staff putting their own lives on the line .
