Patience in the Sunrise

There are several ships out there, along the horizon, waiting their turn to unload in the harbour.
There are varying degrees of patience in New Zealand right now! as is the case in the rest of the world.
As our rates improve, some people want to be able to kickstart the economy, but our Government is saying that it's too soon to move.

The saddest day in New Zealand today, with 4 more Covid-19 related deaths, all elderly folk from the same Rest Home in Christchurch. Our total now is 9 deaths, which isn't a large total compared to the rest of the world, and does indicate that we're on track with controlling it, but we're still grieving. It is, literally, a shocking situation.

Our figures today, as released by the Director General of Health, Dr Ashley Bloomfield, are
Overall total of cases 1366
New cases 17;  our lowest figure since before Lockdown began 20 days ago.
Deaths 9
Recovered 628; an increase of 82 over the past 24 hours.

My apologies for no figures yesterday - life simply caught up with me.
