I love this scanned slide of my mum, my eldest brother Bryn and our beagle Katie... it was taken circa 1969.

It's my mum's 79th Birthday today. It's going to be a strange one for her this year, with my dad in hospital, but I'm happy that my brother James is there with her. Feel sad that I'm not able to celebrate with her, there haven't been many occasions in my lifetime where I've not been with my mum on, or around, her birthday. We shall have to make up for it in style when all this is over. I think it will call for more than one bottle of champagne! :-)
