Mum’s 80th (from 2018)

This photo from 2 years ago came up on my Instagram memory feed earlier today, showing my mother celebrating her 80th birthday. She’ll certainly be getting more than a few phone calls tomorrow on her actual birthday. Not only is she my mother, but also the best friend that I have ever had. Of course, I do worry about her in the current Covid-19 climate. Fingers crossed that we’ll all come up smiling on the other side.
