Marsh marigolds in all their golden glory

I've now been isolated for a month - seeing joys like this really charge me up.  I am so fortunate to be able to keep working at the community garden.  So few of us can get there so there is an enormous amount of work to be done from weeding, watering, sowing seeds and potting on.  Lots of planting to be done too - the potatoes have chitted and there is dung to be spread, top soil to be fetched and spread etc.  I am looking after the formal rose garden for the council too so that needs weeding/hoeing at the moment  as well as mowing the grass and tending the herbaceous borders.  I look forward to my glass of merlot in the evening  and getting my back straight again!
