A squirrel was here!

Taking our exercise on Kinnoull Hill once again. Even at the weekend it was quiet. (I've heard that last week the police were turning people away from the main carpark. It's not a major attraction - the car park might have room for 20 cars.)

I understand neatly eaten pine cones are a sign of a red squirrels. We are seeing them more often now - perhaps once every three or four walks.

Highlight of the day was a video call with our granddaughter and family on her second birthday. She was a bit young to communicate on the call, but we sang Happy Birthday, saw her blow out the candles on her cake, and then eat a piece.
