Coltsfoot

The garden was full of small dandelion-like seeds blowing about today. I eventually found the culprit - a Coltsfoot. I don’t think I’ve seen one since my childhood “up North”.

John might remember Coltsfoot Rock, made by Stockley’s Sweets of Oswaldtwistle. They used to cost a penny each when pennies might have had the young Queen Victoria’s head on them.
