Not a Whitethroat in sight

Well best laid plans as they say. I thought I caught a brief spurt of a Whitethroat's song but that was it. The day wasn't a total loss though as there were quite a few butterflies about. I snapped a Speckled Wood, Peacock and a lovely Small Copper. The most common butterfly of the day was an Orange Tip but for some reason these don't seem to want to settle if only for a brief time. The Starling sat in some brambles thinking he was hidden but the briefest of movements gave away his position.
