Katy and the tulip

I was followed around the garden today, and whilst she is reluctant to look at me when I am trying to take my blip, I can usually get a profile. I thought the red tulip set her off beautifully.
Mr D has been sorting out what we are planning to use as our herb garden. The ground is so hard and stony that it was impossible to dig, so he used unusual methods and attacked it with a jack hammer. Not very orthodox, but it did work. In this same bed we have rhubarb growing, so a few more sticks were harvested and cooked.  With the earlier rhubarb I harvested a few days ago I made a rhubarb and apple crumble. Our firs produce from the garden!  Very yummy.
