Nettlebed

I have to say, after clearing out the dead wood from the shrubs, and an hour into actual weeding, it did occur to me that there might be a craft weaver who might be interested in cultivating a bed for the fibres.

A cousin once lived in a small settlement called Nettlebed, in the hills north of Marlow. I presumed it was a legacy of whatever those pesky Romans brought.
