Home Baking

We were just discussing today how quickly the day passes even although it seems we don’t do much apart walk, shop, exercise, walk dog, or garden.

This morning while I was watching the live coverage of Captain Tom doing the last lap of his garden for his amazing fundraiser, I noticed Mr and Mrs Blackie have three fledgelings scraping and being fed in the undergrowth. Not sure what happened to the previous solo one we saw as I only saw it for one day a couple of weeks ago. Probably murdered by the cat next door. :(

Went to Gloagburn for eggs for us and daughter. She is up to 18 eggs a week now as they are baking every day! Today when we took the eggs down they had made chocolate and banana loaf and lime frosted cupcakes. Delish.

Dropped off my mum’s clean washing and Tesco shop and took away her Dirty stuff. Her hair is becoming like a birds nest goodness knows what it will be like beginning of June!

Out for the clapathon at 8. Most of our street is now out including the dogs- makes for a great noise!

Amazed that we are having the vile Piers Morgan as the only one holding the Government to task for their failings on various aspects of the CV situation ongoing. It was pathetic Hancock’s turn and he was rattled big time. Am sure the Carers will all be so pleased with the badge he produced (I even read somewhere, not sure if true, that they have to buy it).

As expected the Lockdown has been extended to 7 May.
