Day 23: A Different Light...

There is some good news in relation to the Covid-19 issue. Only eight cases of new infections were reported during the daily briefing from various Government members and health experts. Hopefully this trend will continue. Alas there were two more deaths of very vulnerable elderly folk. We feel for their family and friends.
There was a stunning dawn sky this morning. Crimson clouds in the east as Maisie and I set off walking in the dark. Those colours faded to golds and greys and finally the sky in the east looked as if it was on fire. The trio of trees I blipped yesterday looked amazing in this morning’s light between the crimson displays..It is the best time of the day. Son Duncan went grocery shopping for us and stacked a load of firewood. Bryan the Birman had fun in the garden with the tortie girls. They miss him when he returns to Havelock.
