It's been raining

I like the way water sits on glass tables.  It reminds me of how mercury (I think) sits.  I was glad to see some rain today.  It amazes me how dry the ground was, considering the very wet start to the year.  Anyway, today has been a bit easier for me - I think it's because I persuaded my husband to turn the radio from classical music to Planet Rock.  I didn't realise how much I missed it.  I usually play rock music in my car, but as I haven't been driving, the opportunity hasn't been there. Anyway it's the reason for my lift of mood.  So we've spent the afternoon watching a movie while my daughter has baked a chocolate and Oreo cake.  Enjoy your evening folks!
