Buds now open

The first flowers of the Lily of the Valley, both pink and white, have just opened and many more are still in tight bud. This was M's favourite flower and I think they have appeared a little earlier than last year. A raw cold day without a glimpse of the sun and rain of biblical proportions overnight. A complete contrast to yesterday.
