Lathyrus Odoratus

Lily-of-the-valley

A cloudy wet day has curtailed my gardening activities. The garden is at a point of change, most of the daffodils and tulips are finished with just the ranunculus providing a few gaudy highlights (I'm not a huge fan on ranunculus). Today I noticed that the azalea and the wysteria are about to flower - the latter appears to have survived being almost uprooted by Storm Dennis in February. The other surprise was these Lily-of-the valley. I moved them to a different part of the garden last summer and didn't really expect them to flower this year so I'm pleased to see that some of them at least seem to be content with their new location.
