Spools

Lots of time on Zoom today...a book club meeting this morning and piano lesson this afternoon. In between I planted more zinnias (seeds, indoors), baked banana chocolate bars, mailed a couple packages of chocolate chip cookies, bought rabbit food, walked a brisk two miles with W. along the trail, and fixed a simplified but yummy version of Manchurian chicken. And since Rocky Raccoon visited again last night, we replenished the suet.

Came across these wildflowers along the trail near Paeonian Springs - they weren't there two days ago! I believe they're rue anemones.
