Above And Beyond...

Diolch Yn Fawr (Thank You Very Much)

Groundhog Day 26 of COVID-19 UK lockdown.

A damp overcast day, we seem to be getting up later and later, which might be a national trait as my dad has reported the same.

This afternoon we Video called Mrs BB brother in South Africa and were chatting to them for 70 minutes, followed by son Nathan and family in Godalming. We are also keeping in touch with other family and friends, with Mrs BB often chatting to members of the Leisure Club where she works with whom she'd become friendly. One good thing from this lockdown is we're valuing our family and friends even more.

The other thing we're valuing in the UK is our NHS. In Wales, the Welsh government insist everything must be in Welsh.  When workpersons repainted road signage outside Newport Central Police Station as a tribute to our NHS by saying "Thank You NHS" it was also put in Welsh "Diolch Yn Fawr" (translated: 'thank you very much')

The blipfoto shows the tribute.
