Gleaming swan

Today is Saturday, I think! The days are starting to merge one into another, particularly as I've been on holiday over the past week so haven't had work to structure my days.

This afternoon I chose to walk up to Holyrood Park and St Margaret's Loch for my daily walk. It was a beautiful afternoon. The sun was shining, though the wind was cold. As I approached the loch, I spotted a heron by the inflow to the loch. It caught and swallowed something as I passed. As always there were lots of swans on the loch, along with a few mallards, the usual gulls and a few coots. Nice to see.
