Branching Out

Today’s entry in the backyard bird series is the lovely Mrs. Cardinal.
She was spotted sitting on a branch just above the feeder on one of our pines, looking attractive as always.

We remain on quarantine here, with trips to the grocery, pharmacy or liquor stores still allowed, as are outdoor activities such as neighborhood bicycle rides.

The public boat ramps were reopened yesterday but the parks and beaches remain closed.

As best as we have been informed, the virus has yet to peak here as cases and deaths continue.
Even after the so called “peak”, infections are likely to continue for some time.
