Moon Over Porters

The sun was well and truly up when the moon set this morning, lighting up the rather ordinary landscape.  The moon set over Porters Skifield, as it did in October when there was snow on the mountains. Porters is at the southern end of the Craigieburn Range. It is easy to distinguish because it is cut about with roads, clearly visible in large. The mountains are about 70 kms away as the crow flies from where I was.

Edit: I don't do anything in post processing to change the size of the moon. I think it is an optical illusion. All my moonset shots were taken with fixed lens Powershots. My present camera has a 50x zoom, but I didn't use it at the full extent.
