You?ve got to do these things!

Despite the ridiculous cost, my apprehension about being in a small boat in the middle of the ocean and the talk about seasickness, I was persuaded that it was an opportunity not to be missed. Persuaded by someone whose motto is - You've got to do these things.

So I went Whale Watching.

And it was an amazing experience. We saw a Sperm Whale, watched it for a long while and then caught it diving down. We also saw three kinds of Dolphins (see ). In these circumstances it is very hard not to keep trying for better and better photographs and forget to actually watch. Just watching this huge group of dolphins as they swam around the boat was . . . magic.

Brilliant all round . . . but it was expensive!
