City slicker visits country cousin

Dapper, the city owl flies in for a visit.
He and Cousin Why have lots to talk about.
Dapper tells of social distancing but Why
gazes at the empty horizon and doesn't understand.
 Instead, Why talks of drought and fires.  
Dapper  finds that hard to understand and wants
to know how Why got his crooked beak.
"Oh that? Just a bit of a scuffle over a mouse!"
They gaze at each other like the strangers they are.
