Happiness is.....

......sitting under a tree, in a playground eating a ice cream!!

We have had the grandies with us all day whilst their mum and dad did pressing things in preparation for tomorrow.

Started with school visit, showing us their new rooms and coincidently meeting both their teachers (teachers work so hard doing preparation for the terms start next week) , then to swimming lessons.  Because we were having a day with them a treat for lunch....McD's. doesn't hurt anybody occasionally.  Then off to Petone beach and playground were we spent many hours.  The heat was just too much (and still is at 8pm) I had to find a tree and shade from time to time. Any rate, a hell of lot of fun for all. Janelle had a birthday a few days ago, so we prepared a wee surprise desert for her.

Blimey, it is so hot.
