From the beginning

Cromwallis

We went for a drive around some of the bays round the Waitakeres. Stopped for lunch at Titirangi and went to visit Cromwallis.
This is the Wharf there which is restored from the original one from 1841 when the Glaswegian settlers who paid 101 pounds to travel here, get land in an established town and cover their wages for a year.....Typical Scots, we got ripped off and dropped at an empty bay. I dont suppose you can complain too much when it looks like this.

I have never seen so many people with fishing rods crammed onto such a small pier.

This afternoon we headed to the very vibrant viaduct and enjoyed sitting in the sun with a beer and watching the world go by. such a busy place with so much happening.
