Overnight Guest

As l was locking up the conservatory yesterday evening l saw this little orange tip closed up on the window sill.
Knowing that bees and butterflies often get trapped inside this room and often needing help to get out l decided to release it into the garden.
An hour later it was still in the same position and it was getting very cold.
So l brought it back inside .
This morning as the sun’s heat hit the conservatory it was mesmerising to watch it waking up and then with a bit of help from me fly off to freedom.
Not before it had posed for me first.
