Tagliatelle with roasted aubergine...

... and pesto.
I couldn’t leave that lonely aubergine that I rescued from the Co-op in the fridge with no vegetable companions any longer so chopped it up and roasted it.
So that was Sunday lunch and there is enough left for Monday too. With all this making do with what I can get I shall be so rich by the time the new normal is here.
We’re still in the ‘contain’ phase but will start relaxing the rules at midnight on Friday. And at least we do know where we are; all deaths are from care homes as are all but one presumptive death (not tested but Coronavirus mentioned on death certificate).
Meanwhile I’ll keep crocheting squares...
