Im, Mum, and I went to Beddington Park in the morning: we ambled along the river Wandle and found some mallardlings on Stock Pond.
I wasn't terribly satisfied with my photos, but they were a bit different... I found the running water over the various little weirs particularly peaceful, and we saw a pied wagtail, long-tailed tits, and a blackcap along one short section of the Wandle.
The most lively moment (perhaps) was when a little dog donated its tennis ball to the Wandle, developed gifter's remorse, but was too fearful to take it back, so eventually the owner fetched the ball for the dog.
