Great Tit

We are still having lovely weather and the birds are fighting over the peanuts, I love the Great Tits nearly as much as the Blue Tits. Both kinds grab a nut then settle on this weeping Pussy Willow (now dead, but I am leaving it there as the birds love sitting on it). They hold the nut between their feet and peck away at it until it is gone then they start another one and fly away with it. We have Blue Tits nesting and theThe Great Tits are forever being shooed away from the bird feeder by the smaller Blue Tits. So funny to watch.
