Colours the right way round

I took a slightly different route for my morning walk today and was rewarded with beautiful autumn colours, even without sunshine. For an uncomfortable moment these wonderful colours reminded me of the bushfires in December and January when the sky was orange and red. The extra photo was taken on New Years Eve 2019 from our courtyard. Out of control fires were advancing from both the north and the south.  The colour of the sky was fascinating but so wrong and so scary.
