Proper Walk

Alone, at pace, listening to an Apollo 13 podcast - better than music, because I can still hear nature in the background. Lots of noisy chiffchaffs today. Bracken unfurling. Anemones doing their lovely thing. Larch looking lovely, and one of my favourites, whitebeam, with pale, perky buds, ready to go. (Whitebeam in spring now always reminds me of being pregnant with the Bug, on my old route to my old job, through the Exchange. I don't know why that particular detail has stayed with me.)

Made some really good guacamole with dinner. Even if I do say so myself. It's nice to have a bit more time for cooking. I also made a mean pad thai yesterday.
