Afternoon rest in the shade

These are some of the smaller animals we have turned out.  They are in the paddock in front of the house.  Two of them were orphaned (blipped earlier) and the others were just little calves when they were born.  They are growing now and look healthy with the grass and some cake.

A busy day talking to people passing by at a distance and lots of telephone calls, friends from far and wide.  Thank heavens for social media - and telephones!  K turned up with a box of cream tea, including the clotted cream, from a village shop over the hill.  Wheeled my new food processor in the wheel barrow up to my neighbours to see if A can get it started.  It is impossible to get it working and I have been so frustrated!!  Tomorrow is a new day!
