Forget-me-not

When one considers spring flowers one tends to think of cultivated species of bulbs and bedding plants. However nature also provides us with a bounty of “wild” flowers that I was reminded of on my allotment visit tonight. The forget-me-nots, ladies smocks and common daisies reminded me that man’s selection and breeding efforts are not a prerequisite for beauty.
