What if?

False garlic

Nothoscordum bivalve is common in the eastern half of Kansas. It is everywhere in our yard, in the grass and in the flower garden. The trouble is that it doesn't flower a lot otherwise it would be pretty. We get lots of onion-like leaves that wither to yellow and then are not seen again until the following year. It grows from little bulbs that are hard to eradicate; the more you try to pull up the more it spreads. But the flowers are pretty enough.

A warm day and lots of sunshine today.
