Clematis

I got this new clematis just a few weeks ago. It was in bud and is now in full bloom. It has replaced a larger flowered purple one which, after 30 years of neglect, had not been producing much and was beginning to look quite dead in places.
Another cool, sunny day spent working in the garden. I’m beginning to run out of jobs. Today I repaired and painted the old pew that I’ve had for 20 years or so. Hopefully, it will last a few more years now.
