Day 37 - Fessene

Overnight camping at Øyrane beside Litlevatnet in Nordalsfjord with some friends (keeping a responsible distance apart). Temperature quickly went down, so that by the time we went to sleep, ice had formed on our tent.

Hoped to summit Gløsen, however with almost 300m more of vertical climb to go, and already far too much snow, we decided to comb back another time. Jogged down and along to Fessene (the waterfalls) - a spectacular waterfall connecting Fessevatnet (the waterfall lake) and Storevatnet (the big lake). Lovely imaginative names...

Here Charlotte is hopping over the rapids - we were cautious not to slip - the waterfall is 25m high!
