Hidden Treasure

My parter M and I found an old row boat hidden away, 
Buried in the reeds on our walk today,
Long forgotten by whoever enjoyed it before we found it,
Who knows how long it has been sitting there,
Years it would seem;
Just waiting for a chance to be back on the water again,
The water lapping tantalizingly at its sides...
