lLOCKDOWN PASTEL #7

Sometimes it seems pictures are wrong in their colour rendition but this pastel is copied from a photo I took on an early foggy morning with the sun not long coming up low in the sky behind the fog. Its at the old Maori village at Ferrmead,Christchurch NZ and this is the Colonial Village exhibit. The author of the village must have thought the colonials needed nice clean overalls with those hanging happily (for me at least) on the washing line.  The standrd of accomodation wasnt much - but I suppose for the first settlers it was like a 5 star hotal (maybe)
