Yew are my favourite

And this Yew in particular is one of my top trees. I have blipped it before but this morning I felt the light was good and it deserved another outing.
It is on the south eastern lower slopes of Arnside Knott and I was walking underneath it on my way to the Cowslip field.

I had half promised yesterday that I would today have another try for a Cowslip shot. So I was on my way to the area known locally as the Cowslip Field. It is on the Western shoulder of the Knott. The Cowslips are now an extra as they got shunted by the Yew tree.

Another blissful morning of clear blue skies. And a very gentle breeze compared to yesterday although it strengthened again by lunchtime.
